Dear Pat,
My son, Max,
turned three years old this past September. Since the child has been
totally enthralled by Batman and all the characters in the Batman
series, we decided on a Batman theme for his party. I thought it
would be great if Batman himself could make an appearance. I called
most of the places listed ro no avail. Batman was not to be found
anywhere. I took a gamble and called a party store in our area (The
Party Nook) and they directed me to your business. One phone call to
Fitzy Fitness and I hit pay dirt. Batman was coming!
The day of the
party arrived...We had a range of children from age 2 to 13 plus
parents, grandparents and friends. The older childern felt they were
too mature to be seen with Batman and among themselves decided they
were not going to participate. Carol arrived promptly and set up for
the "presentation". Her intro for Batman was exciting, could be
heard by everyone and had the birthday boy charged up. Then, the big
moment came. Batman, in al his glory, was standing at our front
door. This was Max's dream come true.
Batman made a
spectacular entranc and immediately captivated the little ones. We
began the picture taking. I must admit that this helped the older,
more wordly (or so they thought) children warm up to the idea of
Batman. Once the games began, everyone including a few adults joined
in. I was so pleased with the games. Max was 'helped' a bit by
Batman. Everyome won something small even though they weren't the
'official' winner. More important, no one was left out, everyone
enjoyed themselves and Batman's personality really added to the
party atmosphere. We did the Congo line out the door and down the
street for a bit. Now, even passerbys, had the opportunity to
participate. Horns were blowing; hands waving. It was true, simple
and pure fun. We then had Batman conduct the candle blowing on Max's
Batman birthday cake. Carol got a call on the Batphone and then
Batman and Carol left to catch villians in Gotham
City.
Pat, at this point, I
must tell you what valuable employees you have with regards to Carol
and Ed (Batman). Both Carol and Ed were couteous and very adept at
handling a wide range of children. Carol was wonderful as th eM.C.
as she kept everything moving smoothly. Ed was terrific. It was a
hmid day and never once did he even show a hint of being
uncomfortable. His manner with the children was patient and caring.
His sense of humor was zany and the adults got a kick out of him.
Their routine was so well planned that I felt for the hour that
they were here that I caould actually relax and let them take
care of the action....I will most definitely recommend your business
to my friends and plan to use you several times in the future. Also,
please feel free to use any portion of my letter as a parent's
endorsement of Fitzy Fitness and testimony to the joy that was
brought by Batman (Ed) and his helper (Carol) to my son and all that
were here for a very special boy's birthday...
In closing, I cannot
impress upon you enough how delightful and entertainingboth Ed and
Carol made my son's big day. I look forward to doing future business
with you and will highly recomemd you and your business for any
function based on the positive, funny and well organized encounter
that I had with Batman and his helper!
